Pure Flow Yoga
In these challenging and athletic Vinyasa Yoga classes, poses are linked together and synched with the breath. We flow through the asanas connecting each sequence with a vinyasa. This keeps the body warm and engaged throughout the practice. This is beautiful, dynamic style of flow Yoga that maintains a playful and dance-like quality. There is no set sequence and each teacher brings his/her own style. Many of the classes incorporate music to support the energy of the flow. Most classes are all levels or levels are indicated on the schedule.
Clycle :: Flow
This is a fusion class that incorporates the burn of indoor cycling with the fluidity of Yoga. Indoor cycling is touted for its cardiovascular and stabilizing benefits. The caloric burn is unmatched for indoor workouts and cycling builds stability around the knee and hip joints, making Yoga safer. The first ½ of class spent cruising in the cycling studio, the class concludes with powerful flow Yoga for active stretching and continued strengthening. This is the perfect fusion class for stability, caloric burn, strength, fluidity, flexibility and breath body awareness.
Pure Cycle
Skip the Yoga but bring the focus, presence and breath for a great indoor ride that emphasizes taking the journey from the inside out.
Flow :: X-Boot
This is a fusion based class that incorporates the intelligence of boot camp and x-fit style classes by teaching functional, full-body movements. In this class we warm the entire body of sun salutations and flow yoga to engage the cardio vascular system, improve your range of motion and increase flexibility. Once we are fully warm, we will run, jump, push, pull, squat, lunge, crawl and climb (pushing our muscles to failure). These exercises will efficiently work the body using medicine balls, plyometric boxes, strength training and body weight exercises. We will close with lunar (cooling) poses that allow for opening, grounding and restoring. This class is intended to improve strength, stability, power and flexibility for general fitness for all levels.
Flow :: Sculpt
This is a Yoga fusion classes drawing from the methods of ballet barre style classes and sculpting systems such as the Tracy Anderson method. In this class we warm the entire body of sun salutations and flow yoga to engage the cardio vascular system, improve your range of motion and increase flexibility. When the body is warm and ready, we move into small sculpting moves employing yoga mats, elastic straps, chairs and small weights. These tiny movements efficiently engage rarely used accessory muscles and serve to “lean out” the entire body by improving muscular definition and overall tone.
