Take Your Practice Outside
The rumors are true: Mountain Flow Yoga is offering OUTDOOR Roof Top yoga all summer long on the beautiful roof top deck of our building. There's nothing quite like doing sun salutations in the sun, garudasana (eagle pose) with the eagles, or tadasana (mountain pose) with the mountains as you gaze east to the Cascades! Bring your sunscreen and shades (you can practice in good sporty sunglasses that stay put).
The scehdule will shift with the heat, in the early summer days of June/July, we will be offering Roof Top Yoga as follows:
Monday 6:00 p.m., Level 2-3 Pure Flow
Wednesday 6:00 p.m., All Levels PV Flow
Friday 5:45 p.m., All Levels PV Flow
Saturday 9:45 a.m., All Levels PV Flow
Sunday 9:30 a.m., All Levels PV Flow
If/when it gets to hot at peak times in late July/Augst, we'll move the evening classes a little later, and the morning classes a little earlier:

The ancient Yogis created the Asana practice as a moving meditation to prepare the mind and body for the sedentary practice of seated meditation-today we engage in the Asana practice as a moving meditation to prepare our bodies for our sedentary modern life styles, clear our minds from modern stresses and mitigate our attachment to materiality. Hatha yoga builds heat and prana that accumulate in the body. We finish our practice in Svasana and Suhkasana where the effects of the prana are realized
Our teachers come to you from a variety of backgrounds: the common thread we present is a heat and prana generating vigorous flow. This is an amazing practice for athletes, hikers, climbers, dancers and anyone who wants to build strength and lean muscle mass with this intelligent and invigorating practice. Strengthen your body.
